Do you shoot film?
Yes! I shoot a mix of digital and film for every session, which is reflected in my pricing.
What happens if I have to reschedule?
Life happens and I like to honor last minute snafus. I ask for a 24 hour notice when possible. We will work to reschedule your session at the earliest convenience.
What if I don’t want to do the shoot at my house?
I strongly encourage families to have the shoot at home, but I understand construction happens and other extenuating circumstances. As a backup I suggest other locations where the family is comfortable (grandparents house, favorite park).
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes! My current pricing includes 2 hours of travel time. I charge an additional $110 for travel time outside this window.
Do you do mini sessions?
Not at the moment! The images I like to make require time and mutual trust. It’s challenging to establish rapport and find a rhythm with clients in short sessions.
Will you take our Christmas card photo?
When I show up to shoot I never want my objective to be getting one photo with everyone smiling and looking at the camera. It clouds creativity and hold us back from creating something real. That said, I’m happy to carve out a few minutes at the beginning or end of our session for a few staged photos.
Do you offer weekday sessions?
Yes! In fact, I offer a $100 discount for any family sessions scheduled on a non-holiday weekday.
